WELCOME to Model Executive

WELCOME to Model Executive Coaching and Consulting Agency blog (whew... that's a mouthful) or M.E.C.C.A or ME for short!

This is my first blog since the launch of Model Executive and I am so excited! Hence this photo. Not many outside of my closest friends and family see me this way, as I am always poised, self-possessed, and professional. I'm not saying that this isn’t a professional image, but it is an image that I am becoming more and more comfortable embracing these days.


I want to officially invite you into my little piece of the online universe. My name is Janeé and I am a Certified Executive Coach and the founder & CEO of Model Executive Consulting. I can honestly say that I am now living in alignment with my unique talents, experience, passions, and purpose... and it feels A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!


HOW I GOT HERE:

If I'm honest, my last year in corporate America left me yearning for so much more... more growth, more light, more creativity, more professional evolution, more belonging, and most important... more happiness. I had to step away for my own mental well-being, and to explore and honor my feelings and what really makes me happy.


TIME FOR CHANGE:

I came back to the same desire for change. My desire had always been to start a business that marries my two worlds of experience - image, branding and presentation, blended with business, consultative sales and professional success. The intersection of two different worlds that don’t typically collide. I had spent just as much time developing my image and presence skillset in the world of modeling, fashion and publicity, as I had climbing the corporate ladder in sales, coaching and executive leadership.


After my departure from corporate, and a couple months of rest, relaxation and rejuvenation, that is exactly what I did. That is how Model Executive was born, it is where the two worlds connect. And now especially, as the world continues to change and evolve at lightning speed, and into this unrecognizable, unpredictable environment, individuals and business leaders must be agile, prepared, flexible, and able to evolve as well. I recognize and acknowledge this and decided that it was time for me to stop playing it safe, to step out of the shadows, and use my skills to support this endeavor.


EXECUTIVE COACHING:

Now, as a certified executive coach and business owner, I actually have executive coaches that coach me (as peer coaches, we coach each other), and WOW... what a difference it makes! I am certain that if I would have had this type of support in place during my tenure in corporate (a thought partner, a motivator, someone who only focused on me and my journey, who listened and helped me to gain clarity and lucidity with a strategic plan to navigate my goals & success), I'm sure I would still be there. Fortunately, I think it worked out for the best. Now I want to be that for others, because I understand what it's like... I totally get it.

HOW MODEL EXECUTIVE CAN HELP:

My goal is to empower leaders and help them improve their communication and relationships, embrace their unique talents, increase emotional intelligence, increase awareness and multicultural and diverse perspectives, challenge current thinking, gain new insights, and feel comfortable to take some form of action. I do this by providing a safe, structured and trustworthy environment, allowing them to show up authentically and to initially just breathe. In this space we have conversations around current goals and challenges, through a process that empowers them to uncover and develop clarity, their own path, and action steps to move forward. This process will help them to understand their own superpowers and current competencies, help identify how they are perceived by others and how they can improve personal and workplace relationships. I am the catalyst to help you understand how to build a more positive YOU, which in turn creates a more positive environment around you.


CONCLUSION:

In your existing environment, learning how to navigate, embrace and connect w/ your feelings and the feelings of others around you, can help develop a deeper sense of understanding, presence and patience, and increase morale and overall fulfillment. Gaining a better understanding of how empathy and support can create strengths and opportunities for you, your colleagues, your team, your culture, and can move everyone closer to success in not only achieving, but exceeding goals. Writing down those goals, visualizing them, sharing them with others, manifesting them and having open and honest communication is the key to transformative change.


So… that’s a little bit about me and my goal for Model Executive and for you. I stand here so excited and happy, putting it ALL out there for the world to see. And it feels incredibly liberating (and somewhat uncomfortable and a little bit scary)! As I continue to practice and flex this new muscle it will become easier daily. I'm getting comfortable with the uncomfortable, and recognize that discomfort is a sign of growth and I'm giving myself a lot more grace these days (as we all should :-)
